Dear Douglas MacArthur GLA Families:

I want to wish you a happy holiday season! Please accept my sincere thanks and appreciation for all you do for our school.

Please make every effort to send your child to school. Your daughter's success depends on her attendance in class. During the past few weeks we have had poor attendance and I do not want your daughter to be missing important concepts being taught. I will be raffling off a "special prize " for the girl's who have perfect attendance for the first semester late in January.

Please do not forget that extended day will begin on Jan. 5th. Extended day was part of the original plan for the gender academies however transportation routes were already arranged. Please know breakfast begins at 7:30 a.m., classes begin at 8:00 a.m. and dismissal will be at 3:30 p.m. *Extended day is not optional.

Please support the Holiday Shop, December 16th and 17th. Your daughter can purchase gift items for family members. Our SPO is sponsoring this event. Special thanks to Lana Bogusz and Jen Laco for their hard work!

On December 19th our Holiday Musical will be presented. Our girl's will be performing "Holidays in America" at 10:30. I hope you will be able to attend.
