Meet your Literary Librarian :

Allow me to formally introduce my self: My name is Mrs. Nonie (rhymes with Toni) Bailey.  As the school librarian, I am dedicated to sharing my love of literature, research and discovery with your daughters, granddaughters, sisters, cousins, nieces, and neighbors. I have a degree in early childhood education from Cleveland State University and a master of library and information science degree from Kent State University.

Thank you MacArthur Monarch parents and guardians for making the Cleveland Public Library card drive a success! We had 26 girls receive their very own library card, which is accepted at both Cleveland Public and Cuyahoga County Libraries.

My door is always open on Mondays and Wednesdays before or after school and by appointment if you have any questions, comments, hopes, or dreams you would like to share regarding the school library. Please know that you are always welcome to come in, make yourself comfortable, pick up a book and stay awhile!

Cleveland Cavaliers donated computers, paint, custom graphics, bookshelves and furniture to Douglas MacArthur GLA's Reading and Learning Center.
